Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website, Framer and its supporting technologies may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser type
- Device type and operating system
- Referring website or source
- Pages viewed
- Date and time of access
- General website interactions
- Performance and diagnostic information
We currently expect to use Framer Analytics to understand basic website usage and performance. We may later use Google Analytics or similar analytics services, in which case this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
We do not currently use advertising pixels, behavioral-tracking tools, remarketing technologies, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar session-recording tools.
We may use collected information to:
- Review and respond to staffing inquiries
- Understand a law firm’s staffing concerns
- Prepare for staffing strategy conversations
- Create internal notes relating to an inquiry
- Provide information about recruiting and employment-support services
- Communicate directly with the person who submitted an inquiry
- Schedule consultations

- Monitor website performance
- Detect spam, fraud, abuse, or security threats
- Maintain business and communication records
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
- Protect our legal rights and business operations
Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client, employment, recruiting, agency, or contractual relationship. It does not guarantee candidate availability, pricing, employment structure, or placement.
Information submitted through the Staffing Questionnaire is used to understand your firm’s staffing concerns and respond to your inquiry.
Questionnaire submissions may be received and maintained through Framer’s native form functionality and delivered to:
info@legalbasis.co
Access to submissions is limited to authorized HireBasis personnel, presently including management and the recruitment specialist, together with administrative personnel when reasonably necessary to manage records or privacy requests.
We do not automatically add questionnaire submitters to marketing lists, newsletters, promotional email campaigns, or SMS-marketing programs.
Telephone numbers are used only for direct follow-up concerning the inquiry unless the individual separately agrees to another use.
The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to:
- Operate the website
- Maintain security
- Process forms
- Measure basic traffic and performance
- Prevent misuse
- Remember limited preferences
We presently use or expect to use Framer’s standard hosting, form, and analytics functionality.
We do not currently use cookies for behavioral advertising, remarketing, or cross-site advertising profiles.
Browser “Do Not Track” Signals
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no universally accepted technical standard governing these signals, our website does not currently respond differently to ordinary Do Not Track settings.
We do not currently engage in cross-site behavioral advertising or use advertising technologies intended to track users across unrelated websites.
Our website is hosted through Framer.
Framer may process technical information and information submitted through website forms as necessary to provide hosting, form, security, analytics, and related services.
Information processed by Framer is also subject to Framer’s applicable privacy and service terms.
We use a LegalBasis Calendly account to offer staffing-strategy appointments.
Calendly is accessed through an external link and is not currently embedded directly into the LegalBasis website.
When you use Calendly, Calendly may collect information such as your name, email address, selected appointment time, and information you choose to provide during scheduling. Information submitted directly to Calendly is subject to Calendly’s own privacy practices and terms.
Within HireBasis
LegalBasis is a HireBasis service operated by HireBasis Corp. Information may be accessed by authorized HireBasis personnel for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Service Providers
Information may be processed by providers supporting website hosting, website forms, analytics, email delivery, appointment scheduling, cybersecurity, recruiting, employer-of-record services, and payroll and employment administration. These providers receive information only when reasonably necessary for the applicable service.
Prospective Candidates
Firm information may be shared with a prospective candidate only when it is reasonably necessary for the recruiting process and the law firm has authorized the disclosure. We do not ordinarily provide the original Staffing Questionnaire to candidates.
Employment-Support Providers
If a law firm chooses to proceed with a hire, relevant information may be provided to Multiplier or another approved employment-support provider when reasonably necessary to establish or administer the employment relationship. Questionnaire information is not provided to an employer-of-record provider merely because an inquiry was submitted. Employment documentation, identity information, payroll details, tax information, and benefits information are expected to be handled through the applicable third-party provider rather than processed directly through the LegalBasis questionnaire.
Professional Advisers and Legal Requirements
We may also disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, consultants, or government authorities when reasonably necessary to obtain professional advice; comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process; respond to a lawful government request; protect our rights, property, personnel, users, or others; investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents; or enforce an agreement or defend a legal claim.
Business Transactions
Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
LegalBasis does not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
We do not currently use questionnaire information for behavioral advertising, share inquiry information with advertising networks, use remarketing pixels, upload inquiry information to advertising platforms, automatically enroll submitters in marketing lists, send promotional text messages, or buy, rent, or sell contact lists.
Information is used for direct inquiry follow-up, staffing evaluation, service administration, and related business records.
We generally retain ordinary inquiries and Staffing Questionnaire submissions for up to two years from the most recent substantive interaction.
Information may be deleted earlier when it is no longer reasonably needed.
When a valid deletion request is approved, we will take reasonable steps to remove the applicable information from active systems under our control, including relevant email, Framer records, spreadsheets, or other active business records.
Deletion from backups may occur according to ordinary backup-retention cycles rather than immediately.
10. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, including limiting access to authorized personnel, using strong passwords, enabling multifactor authentication where available, maintaining internal data-security procedures, using secure provider systems where appropriate, and directing sensitive employment documents to appropriate secure portals rather than ordinary email.
No website, internet transmission, email system, or electronic-storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please do not transmit confidential client materials or sensitive personal information through the Staffing Questionnaire or ordinary email.
11. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
You may contact us to request that we provide access to personal information associated with you, correct inaccurate information, delete information, withdraw consent where applicable, or answer questions about our information practices.

13. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The website and services are intended for adult business users. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.
If you believe that a child has submitted personal information, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
14. GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE
